As well as providing tender management support we also offer an annual support service on a retained basis. Our programme is tailored to meet the specific needs of the individual housing association – this may be advising on specific projects and ventures, assistance with renewal and mid-term meetings and negotiations.
Gibbs Laidler is the foremost provider of insurance review assistance to Housing Associations. As well as our service to manage insurance tenders within the scope of the EU Procurement procedure, we also advise a number of associations on a retained basis to help them maintain the right balance of insurance and risk management. Our approach has assisted housing associations from the largest to associations with a few hundred properties. We have been established since 1997 and have managed in excess of 200 tenders.
“This was a superb event and fantastically organised by Gibbs Laidler. The topics were well presented and very informative and the opportunity for networking with other attendees made the event that bit more special. Big thanks to Jeff, Chris, and James for their hospitality and for supplying all the first class food, drink and accommodation.” Sovereign —Janette Layfield, Insurance Officer
“We recently completed an insurance tender and used the services of Gibbs Laidler. The tender resulted in a significant reduction in the cost of insurance, delivering a balanced approach to cost and quality and their assistance throughout the process has helped to raise the profile of insurance and the management of insurable risk across the organisation”.
“With over 90,000 units, we require the services of an organisation which can work with London & Quadrant to consider the different insurance solutions available. We retain Gibbs Laidler in this capacity as the insurance market continues to change and our approach to insurance needs to adapt to these changes”
“Network Housing Association initially used Gibbs Laidler to assist with an insurance tender. We have worked with them for the last ten years on a retained basis assisting the group with insurance and risk issues as we grow and develop. Their help with development risks has been particularly beneficial.”
The team at Gibbs Laidler have extensive experience of a wide range of industry sectors, all of which is valuable as background to our core work in the social housing sector.
